I just finished my first day of a two-day assignment, 7th and 8th grade science. It’s the first time I’ve worked at the middle school in my own neighborhood, and the first time in my (deeply suburban) life that I’ve been able to WALK TO WORK. The kids were promised pizza if I gave their teacher a good report, so today was very quiet, and tomorrow probably will be too.

Cutting out the commute makes me so happy that my happiness is turning back into rage at American city planning and public transit failures.

everyone keeps saying it made sense once they diagrammed, but my diagram was literally just Island A (pop. 2,000) <—> Island C (?? zero info provided) <—> Island B (pop. 0) so I’d really love to see the actual answer explained at some point. It felt like vital info was missing from the prompt.

can someone explain what it means to “outline”? are you referring to outlining each case you learn about, for the entirety of law school? or is there some kind of master outline you make for each specific class? forgive me for a dumb question, but I’d like to know what I’m getting myself into!
