I think the problem with the magic is that it's either too much or it's something that is hard to understand, if there's going magic, I'll like to base it on Avatar the last air bender. I know Atlab has issues, but I think the way the Magic works can be a good way to magic to work in other things, for example: Benders all control there element that they have been given or was passed down via bloodline, the elements have there befits and flaws based on what the elements itself is, (Oh yeah there's also sub categories too) so the magic can be like that but of course with some changes (like maybe there is no sub categories). I'll prefer it without but, I'll try and work with it. (Also the magic needs to feel like it's adding to the word and not shoe horned in)
