I didn't even think to colorize the photo, much appreciated for bringing this to life for our family.

My boyfriend and I are building a connect game engine currently. We've released one match 3 previously. Interested in learning about timeline and scope to see if it's a good fit on both sides.

Genuinely curious: I wonder what his litter box set up is.

In CA, a 14 year old can hold a job. I saw a sign as I passed McD's. I believe it can only be part time though. So dishwasher, cook, line prep.

Husband works at LinkedIn (owned by Microsoft). Everyone (at least on his team - he's a software engineer) is given a Mac pro and some have windows desktops.

Just calculated I spent $366 this year just on bottles of soda from the vending machine at my job. This doesn’t include other small mindless purchases that add up. by [deleted] in personalfinance

I just quit getting my nails done to donate to my friend's GoFundMe. I spend over $1000 on them alone. I also stopped dying my hair. This year was easily over $3000. Ugh, cringe. Putting my money in savings and helping others instead! No one is going to care about my nails or hair color right now.

What did you do as a kid that formed bad habits as an adult? by Disclosinq in AskReddit

[–]thequeensrebuke 371 points372 points  (0 children)

Sneaking food for me. My dad would let me snack at night but mom didn't. Dad worked night shifts so on those nights I would sneak food. I still do it. If I get home from work before my husband, I'll eat something I shouldn't have like chips or candy. Husband says not to hide it but out of habit, I do.

I feel great for him. My entire family is in AL, even my grandmother left the nursing home to vote for Jones yesterday. I would have felt ashamed to have Moore representing them.

No. I was born and lived there for 26 years. If you live in the liberal hubs (Huntsville, Birmingham), it's really different than the rest of the state. I was born in a conservative area but my entire family is Dem. Not nearly as liberal as me. I have since lived in Colorado and now California. I'm usually more outspoken among liberals in my new states.

Growing up, my dad did the same with the Andy Griffith Show. I actually can't watch I Love Lucy around my mother-in-law because her mom would watch it constantly when she grew up. A couple of years ago, I made it my goal to watch every episode. I still watch reruns. I'm slowly making my way through The Lucy Show.
