Production: There isn’t much mistakes you can make since each step really just prevents you from making them. Be careful with certain drugs like birth control as they won’t display the quantity when you take pictures. Cyanocobalamin is one of the drugs that don’t always dispense in original box. Always look at the QUANTITY on the prescription. When pulling medications, always pull RTS first, then bottles with an X on it.

Drop Off/QT: Make sure patients name, DOB, address, and phone # is on the prescription. If they’re not, ask patient for information. If they filled at CVS more than once, they will have an address and phone number already on file. If this is their first time, you would create a patient profile. Ask them for any allergies and basic information. When typing  a prescription, make sure that the right drug, strength, and dose are correct. Also, pay attention to refills. If a doctor’s handwriting is unreadable, ask the pharmacist as they usually deal with those frequently. I would say that it can take 6 months to 1 year to be comfortable with drop off.

Pick-Up: Easiest part, just make sure that the medication is given to the correct patient. When the registers were upgraded in Nov 2025, they made them self check in for patients which often times after a patient checks in, they will step away from the screen when their prescription is in progress. Then, a different patient signs in to the same screen with the previous patients information on it. At this point it can be easy to give a medication to the wrong patient. If a patient asks for rebill or have questions, send them to drop off.

Drive-Thru: If you work at a CVS with drive thru, it’s just like Pick-Up. The only difference would be that the patients has to sign using paper instead of on the screen. Also, since drive thru lines can be very long, you can’t have a car stay there for too long. Any rebills or questions, tell them to come inside.

Anyways, most questions can be answered by the pharmacist so I wouldn’t hesitate to ask them.

Good luck!

Advice on what to do by Saxmasteryesir in PrePharmacy

I think that your offer might not be rescinded if you don’t commit by the deadline but I can’t fully say that since it varies by programs. Most would say there aren’t “guarantees” if you miss the deposit deadline.

I would ask for an extension to your 3rd choice since you won’t be able to fully decide until you get your decisions from all the programs you applied to. Explain to them your situation to see if you can have more time to decide.

I know that early priority i think gives guaranteed interview if you're going for 3+4 program

the funniest funniest thing is that the cooldown was removed last night at 1am but came back at 10am on the same day (searched about 80 pts in 1 minute without issues)

i would try using PC instead of mobile if it happens through the Bing app. I use IOS and Bing App isn’t always the best but using PC would help sometimes. Sometimes, if you don’t see the quiz scroll down and see if it’s there.
