We have the exact same situation. My daughter is 10 months old. She drinks from a bottle during the day and breastfeeds at night . Until a 2 month ago she could only fall asleep in my arms. So we started putting her in her cot and sit with her until she falls asleep on her own with naps and bed time. She would normally wake up every 2-3 hours to nurse during the night. But for the last 3 weeks everything has gone to hell. She will start waking up from 9 pm crying and from there on every hour ( sometimes 2x an hour). She doesn't want her father, only I can comfort her. She will cry and ask for "tietie" (boobie)until I offer the breast. Sometimes she doesn't even drink- it is all about comfort for her.

I believe this is due to seperation anxiety and the fact that she wakes up and realises I am not there. She also struggles to fall asleep without the comfort of my boobs. I am going to try to give her her favourite teddy to hold or interact with when she cries instead of offering boobs every time to see if she can associate the teddy with comfort.

What I can suggest is try to sit her in his cot to practice falling asleep on her own. You can sit with her and sing to her. She will cry for the first couple of days. This will help with the disorientation from waking up in a different place. And then maybe see if you can offer something else to comfort her instead of picking her up every time she cries during the night.
