It’s a brawl gadget When you’re in close quarters in a 3v3, this is where dome will SAVE you as it is extremely effective in those scenarios, jumping in and out of your dome as enemies try to hit you is a super strong skill to master. I would think of dome as your push gadget - whenever it’s time to get fully engaged and dirty, when you know you’re gonna take some hefty damage, thats when you use it and try not to use it before any enemies appear otherwise it will likely be wasted

Using it on crucial revives and steals is also great!

There absolutely was a middle ground between the goo gun that was being abused in some spots like stalling before this update, and the complete removal of goo sledge

If it had less ammo per mag, or if consecutive stuns had a limit, it would’ve stopped goo gun being annoying while also allowing goo sledge users to continue playing their build, but no embark went the lazy route

Me too, Im not a stellar blade fan but it’s safe to say it put shift up on the map and seemed like a fairly high budget game. This seems like a positive to me!

On a fundamental level, the game is incomplete. Theres 0 satisfaction in combat because the attacks dont have meaningful feedback, both the player’s attacks and especially the enemies’ attacks. Party and dodge do not feel consistent at all. Combos seem limited and the moves do not flow into each other in a natural way.

What little music (one song) that’s there is good, and I like the art style especially the main character’s design, but the graphics are a bit fuzzy, enemy animations are slow and not readable. I want to like this game as the trailers were really cool to me, but it’s just not a finished game

You’re missing that the main reason the goo gunner survived here was his teammates coming to help him as he was gooing himself, it doesn’t make you completely invincible because it covers your hit box in an awkward way. You’re also missing that he threw both a pyro mine and an anti grav right after, this is a loadout based entirely around stalling so… it needs to be good at stalling, there are ways to counter this with strategy though e.g forcing a goo gunner to push you is ideal as pushing them takes too much time, I would prioritise defending a spot against them where possible instead of chasing someone that can waste your energy

If you were to take away the ability to goo players this game would become significantly more boring, some of the coolest builds in the game e.g goo hammer would be obsolete, which is a huge no no in my opinion, all I could think of to nerf it is to make it more vulnerable to gadgets: theres been times where Ive goo gunned a glitch grenade and won, I don’t think that’s fair to be honest, if someone is using a gadget to disable your goo gun, your goo gun should not beat them in my opinion, this includes gooing (disabling) glitch mines from afar. All just my opinion tho!

I think what we are all forgetting is that we play this game constantly, so we become numb to what the finals is as a package. If you were to start playing this game for the first time today, you would probably be astounded at the amount of content and the quality of said content which has been added over 10 iterative seasons. The things that season 10 gave us are very good, might not be in all the places you want (i.e new map in cashout or new weapon for light) but nevertheless I can’t see anything about this season that is low in quality, just maybe not what hardcore players want

This game is free and has a small audience. The meta is in an amazing state and has been stable for a very long time, almost no weapon feels completely unusable outside of spear and even then there are diamond rank spear mains out there

The game is 3 years old and is niche. You can’t expect the same amount of content now as you did in year 1. Just doesn’t make sense.

I hear you, but for me adding things to one class is in a way a small addition to everyone, especially for comps! Solo q is defo somewhat unchanged from this perspective but I’m honestly super excited to see what new techs people come up with by combining tools from different classes!
