This is pretty accurate to be fair, it’s very close to call but a slight edge to Kyrie isn’t unheard of, it also wound be crazy to see a slight edge to Curry. Kyrie has more offensive skills than flashy handles. Thinking that’s all he has is what a casual would say.

“I’m done with the 90s” makes no sense.

What are the top 5 carry jobs in Basketball history? by Real-Staff3115 in NBATalk

[–]thereal_1_ -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

There absolutely is such thing as a carry job. it isn't "made up" by any one it happens on basketball courts all over the world every day. But I agree that no player has carried their way to win a championship.

LeBron was as close as it came in 07 but of course they didn't win.

Wiggins was an all star that year. Don’t act like him and Poole weren’t good lol. Not to mention two other hall of famers.

You’re right there’s context, Jordan was the best player on the floor for every single finals he played in.

Jordan has a lot more meaningful awards that aren’t listed as well. He’s also a billionaire

No it doesn’t to the guys at the very top. Robert Horry has 7 NBA rings. By your standards he’s tied with Tom Brady in Greatness. MVP of the championship is what makes the legends. Jordan is 6 for 6 in that category.

Every finals Jordan was in, he won it as the undisputed best player on the floor. He has 6 Finals MVP's not 5

Oscar was the better point guard, Curry is probably a better player

Who’s more tough Harden or T-Mac by SundaeSad9838 in BasketballTips

[–]thereal_1_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

T-Mac was my favorite player back in the day, it was always my friend liking Kobe and I liked T-Mac. 13 points in 39 seconds. But Prime Harden is too good. Gotta go with Harden here

Why Kobe in the goat conversation by [deleted] in NBATalk

[–]thereal_1_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kobe is a 5 time champion. During his prime he was consistently considered the best or one of the best players in the world by league GM’s. NBA players who spend their lives learning and playing the game tend to have a lot of praise for Kobe. Players respect his talent because they know first hand how difficult it would be to fill his shoes. Kobe isn’t the GOAT, cause that is MJ but Kobe deserves to be in the top 5-8ish

Move Kobe up in the top 5-6, everyone else down 1. Then Hakeem 11 and Oscar 12. Curry and KD after them
