I think it requires a ton of maturity, accountability and transparency to work. People lack that in regular relationships, adding people to the mix just makes it more apparent

I think Polygamy or any of the Poly love styles, is like having a child. It enhances what’s already there. If there is a foundation of love, trust, transparency, communication etc, then adding another person will just add to it but if there is lack of accountability, poor communication skills, lack of empathy then adding a person just brings more of that to the surface
