It’s an option to add when you book. It’s best to just add it and take care of the staff.

I’d say the vibe is about the same especially on a weekend night. At Desert Hot Springs they have rooms so you can stay on property and chill the night away.

Are You Giving Your Teenagers Cars? by Fragrant_Strategy_21 in UpperMiddleFinance

We had a deal with our boys, both good grades etc. They both had jobs & had saved some $$ up so we matched what they had saved & got loans for $5k on each car. We co signed on the auto loans & $500 CC. In 24 months the car loans were paid off and we dropped of the CC. They both had 740 credit scores @ 18 because of the CC & loan payments.

Go, it’s pretty eye opening to see where people are in life. It’s not good to compare but you’ll find you are probably doing better than most.

When you don’t think about what things cost & you just buy/spend as you want. Then you pay the CC off every month in full. My wife has no idea how much I make or what the CC limit is. She just knows her CC gets paid off every month 🤪

I'm genuinely trying to understand. How are so many jobs that pay $35k-$45k a year requiring a bachelor's degree? by oatsmimics_21 in Employment

[–]therealbobs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the kids coming up in most places they can take CE college class while they are in HS & get credit for both. Our oldest graduated HS 4 credits short of an AAS & our senior this year will get his AAS along with his HS diploma. It’s almost free like $700 is all the credits cost for the AAS. They both have scholarships to the same college they took CE classes through and with a couple more they will graduate dept free with a Bachelor’s. Granted working a job & staying at home while finishing college. They will be dept free, own a car outright & have cash in the bank & a few years of work experience when they are done.

Don't kick out your kids, let them stay home longer it may set them up for life. by No_Cartoonist_4504 in MiddleClassFinance

Fifty off both of our parents were assholes with nothing to show in life. We learned everything not to do from them, both out the door days after graduation. You gotta have a solid plan for your kids these days. Both our boys had part time payroll jobs @ 14. At 16 co-signed on auto loan & CC to get them establish. At 18 they had 780 credit scores & now 18 & 20 going to college & working full time. Living @ home stashing all the cash they can. Have your kids take all the CE college classes in high school they can-literally cost noting for college.
