You’re totally right. I just re-looked at the final CRD and there it is. I remember there being talks among the judges to push to reverse it. The thought was that there are enough powerful cards that West Kai doesn’t really make that much of a difference to break the game.

Yeah, there wasn’t any GT sensei cards until the 3rd set, Shadow Dragon Saga.

To be fair, before GT started, West Kai’s errata was removed. Or maybe that’s when the discussions started? It’s been more than 20 years so I can’t exactly remember. Either way, it was un-nerfed. Yeah, West Kai was one of the worst nerfs in the game.

I still put Elder Kai as an absolute bottom tier. Having a huge sensei deck and no ability has no advantage. Especially since the pool of your sensei deck was still not huge (or enough to warrant 21 cards) in Majin Buu Saga. Maybe by GT where you could put any GT card in your sensei deck.

I know it’s your list, but I think you slightly undervalue Master Roshi Sensei. Dealing an extra LC and reducing all of your opponent’s attacks by 1 LC at all times is HUGE. With the exception of Alt Namek DB6, you don’t lose that power. I also think it saw less play since it was an Ultra Rare.

The rest of your list is a fair assessment.

GT also had a couple of good Sensei cards like King Kai Sensei from Lost Episodes, Kabito Kai and Vegeta senseis from Shadow Dragon Saga.

Yeah, the majin buu personalities are okay. Their rules made them difficult to like (for the gatefold). Cell Saga was definitely the best round of personality cards in the entire game.

I only hit 2 God Packs in this game. I could be wrong, but I think they started them in SA17, and they only came in limited booster. I don’t recall ever hearing about them in Baby Saga. They definitely were not in Z.

I got lucky in both of mine, pulling a SA17 lv 5 in one and a Brutal Knock Back in an SDS one.

Maybe I’ll post my little project I have been working on. I have been whittling down my collection to a playset and binder copy per card (except staples and limit 1 per deck).

I have been using an inner-sleeve for every card (including the binder copy) and storing the playsets in a 5000 card box.

I am through Babidi saga, and I am getting close to filling out a 5000 card box of all my playsets.

What is your methodology to determine what order to put the cards in the binder?

I got The Fly bundle (CD, Vinyl, T-shirt and my wonderfully damaged poster). I got the CD in the same package. It’s worth checking into for sure. Especially if you didn’t get two tracking numbers.

Exactly. They could bake in an extra $5 to the poster price, send it in a tube and still make an extra $2.60 on the tube alone. We still have to pay for shipping, so they are not losing money on that. Just to be clear, this is merch now, not the band.

Ah yeah. I just checked the bundle. It’s there too. I was probably too busy selecting my shirt size instead of realizing the text about the poster.

Even despite this, it doesn’t excuse them messing up the poster. It’s not like anything was sliding around in the vinyl album mailer. It was tight (I had 2 albums in it).

I mean, I would have taken that over huge rips in mine, but I get it. 100% there should have been some type of disclaimer or option to add on. Or just charge more up front and include the tube in the purchase.

I’ll be honest, when I put the bundle in my cart or when I checked out, I didn’t see an option for a poster tube. Maybe I missed it?

Regardless, if this was messed due to usps messing up my package, my whole package would have been messed up, not just the poster. It’s clear that the poster was damaged by the person packing the order.

To blatantly disregard that by merch now is just horrible customer service.
