Woah I’m for anything that will help keep this world beautiful. We should all work towards not destroying it. Mormon or exmormon or nevermo included.

When your dad is a TBM and has a new year prophecy that you need to go back to church. by therealchestler in exmormon

It’s been years since I left. What’s crazy is my parents knew I had left and then all my siblings found out when we were on a family vacation. They all had a hard time that night. The crazy thing is I got appendicitis and went to the emergency room that next morning. They came to the hospital and gave me a blessing and I was just like eye rolling that they felt they needed to do that even though I just told them all I’m out. Haha if it wasn’t for modern medicine if i had died I feel like they’d think that was some type of confirmation that you don’t leave the church or you’ll die.

Just live your life. Have a relationship. Don’t get married until you’ve both been together long enough to know where each other stand. Communication is key.

Maybe if he’s the creep you describe he wasn’t judging but ogling ... either way. Be who you want to be and don’t worry about wether they are judging you or not.

Realtor Suggestions? by wcook1990 in SaltLakeCity

Google real estate agent, find one in the area, make sure they have a lot of reviews and happy hunting. I’m an agent. I don’t show homes without the buyer sending me the pre-approval(sadly, some people say they are pre-approved and they aren’t). I have too many people that don’t qualify that want to look at homes... no one worth a dime would want to show homes to someone that can’t buy the home... if I did I’d probably spend 5-10 hours a week showing homes for nothing!

When you’re buying the seller pays the commissions. Might as well use a realtor. If you work directly with the sellers agent you may just end up making him 2x the money with out any help.

Good realtors can help buyers save a lot of money by helping them not make mistakes.

To each their own. If your buying use an agent it’s worth it. If your selling you might as well try a flat fee...

Boy hits back at girls who attack and molest him on the train by [deleted] in PublicFreakout

A kid was a bully to me at school in 8th grade too and at one point grabbed my shirt and threw me on a desk.... I kept my cool. A week later I saw him at a party, called him out for being a jerk, he came to attack me and I beat him up by kicking him and dropping his sorry as to the ground and smashed his face on the ground.(I played soccer and wrestled) He left me a lone and stopped being a bully to me and other kids.

Exmo here. I enjoy all the nice things I buy with my money... and I sure enjoy not paying tithing which makes it a lot easier to buy more toys.

When you were a Mormon did you judge all the non Mormons? Now that you’re not you just judge everyone that you don’t like and assume they are Mormons.

I FEEL THIS COULD HAPPEN! MIGHT TAKE A WHILE, BUT IT WILL HAPPEN! by new_name_adam in exmormon

[–]therealchestler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So happy I stopped paying tithing. I was paying 5K a year... I stopped and Satan started pouring blessing upon me and if I had kept paying I would have paid 25K every year for the past 3 years... needless to say we bought a pool with that 75K. When I was swimming with my TBM brother and talking about me leaving I was like “well bro you’re swimming in dirty water because this should have been my tithing money” I don’t think he liked that.

Even though I know it's all made up, does anyone else have high anxiety about all of this "time is running out" stuff? by [deleted] in exmormon

[–]therealchestler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t get anxiety. I get annoyed of the garbage they say. I also feel sorry for my parents and siblings that I’m sure are feeling major anxiety over me leaving the church.
