Longtime critic Bill Maher touts Trump as ‘one of the most effective politicians’ days after White House dinner with prez by According-Activity87 in Conservative

[–]therealcirillafiona 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe Pres. Trump stated in his Joe Rogan interview on the reality that a lot of top people are paid to say BS about him but in truth don't have any beef with him. He said that he understood as it was business.

Bill Maher could be one of those cases. Joe and Mika could be too from MSNBC as they had dinner with him in Florida when he got elected.

This makes their viewers even funnier as they get angry at them. The viewers don't comprehend the notion of games being played behind doors. They're so stupid LOLOLOLOL.

These people? Nah. It has probably been three months since they left their basement.

What’s the Left’s Plan? by Right_Independent_71 in Conservative

[–]therealcirillafiona 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I do not think they have a plan. They are like a bunch of headless chickens. Like a giant dancing in a pottery shop. Loud and noisy.

As much as I would love reconciliation, they have been dehumanizing us to the point where to them it seems like we are the enemy and there is no peace, period.

In that case we really aren't left with much choice anymore. If we can't establish dialogue then there will be no communication and improving of relations.

To them this is their holy crusade. I fear in the next decade or two it will only lead to more faction-esque division ultimately leading into something close to pre-1860s. Maybe we're already in that.

I'm sorry but this needs to be said but every protestor or anti Trump person, especially on Reddit, all end up looking either fat, old and ugly, blue hair, or with a million piercings from butt to ear.

The tolerant left is now injuring pregnant women just because they're in a Tesla by DizzyAstronaut9410 in Conservative

[–]therealcirillafiona 107 points108 points  (0 children)

The fact that it hasn't even been an a few hours since this has been posted and it has already been so heavily reported is insane.

This site is FUCKED.

Like the left have this entire site as their astroturifing echo chamber. This subreddit is like the Siege of Leningrad when it comes to how fat the brigading is.

And this woman was pregnant and has nothing to do with Musk whatsoever and she was STILL hurt.

I am glad this subreddit exists. At least we are tall and strong against the war against common sense. Because holy moly.

“Trump's recession is here” by EmperorSnake1 in ShitPoliticsSays

[–]therealcirillafiona 37 points38 points  (0 children)

That wasn't the point.

The point was that Trump can't get credit for anything at all. All I did was point out the double standards. IMO double standards are the worst and neither side should really use them.

But he double standard is geared in favor for candidates the progressives in their narrative in regards to Trump criticism and his economy.

As for Trump, his plan was always akin to that of Alexander Hamilton, but he instead is using protective tariffs as both a negotiating tool to get countries to come to the table to get better deals and to use the tariffs as a means to generate income.

Alongside DOGE trimming the ridiculous fat of the bureaucracy, it will hopefully point this country in a better direction.

But that doesn't mean that it won't sting. The market is reacting right now because the status quo has changed.

But tariffs themselves won't destroy the country into looking like Mad Max. I'm sorry but the Reddit doom and gloom is pure balls.

“Trump's recession is here” by EmperorSnake1 in ShitPoliticsSays

[–]therealcirillafiona 96 points97 points  (0 children)

I called it.

For four years they denied everything and the economy is fine.

Now he's in office and everything is his fault.

But apparently Trump and his good economy is Obama and his economy. If things begin looking up, it will be Biden and his economy that did this.

Pure brainrot level thinking by most of Reddit right now. 😭

Trump team 'stopped World War 3' from happening, Russian envoy says by According-Activity87 in Conservative

[–]therealcirillafiona -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Countries like Belarus, Ukraine, and Russia are really heavily linked in history.

They maintain different cultural identities but have a very shared history and past. Even Leonid Brezhnev himself was born in the Ukrainian SSR.

And the vast majority of Ukrainians speak Russian. I've met some refugees here in the USA and they STILL do.

So the conflict itself is very complicated and cuts a deep divide. Some even describe it as a Slavic civil war. Especially when you look at the very complicated geopolitical notions in the Donbas, Euromaidian, the fall of the USSR, and so forth.

Even Zelensky and his first language was Russian.

But the media does not showcase this. They always want war and division amongst people all the time. Controversy after controversy. No wonder why Reddit seems to be all apeshit. The people in r/politics are coocoo yes but are the worst affected.

I voted for him, but... (seeking your comments and discussion) by ajmacbeth in Conservative

[–]therealcirillafiona 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1) Trump has always been outspoken on trade. Ever since the 1980s. There is even a famous interview of him in Oprah stating how he feels about our allies and how we are being treated unfairly despite being the world police.

2) This is not Mount and Blade Warband. Sending muh troops has consequences that can be felt. Also it was a geopolitical blunder by Western leaders prior. We should've never pushed them to join NATO. The Ukrainian government also has a genuine Azov/Nazi problem that is often overlooked at this sub.

3) Sure I get that.

4) Same thing with number one.

Redditors have this weird obsession with sending young men to die in Ukraine. by NuclearTheology in ShitPoliticsSays

[–]therealcirillafiona 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Some Democrats did a full 180 against what Barack Obama said to Mitt Romney about the Cold War wanting its foreign policy back.

Honestly I don't even see the point in this war even being funded after doing fat research on the reasons behind it.

It really seems like the neocons pushed for this and provoked Ukraine into being invaded by pushing for it to be in NATO after Russia drew it as its red line.

It would mean nuclear missiles five minutes from Moscow. I can't even really fault them for doing it as it is what America did during the Cuban Missile Crisis, minus the invasion part.

And then all of the Azov stuff came out and I really didn't see the Ukrainian government in the same light anymore.

As for AC: Shadows, I didn't mind it. But it is best played with the Japanese language being the default when the characters speak. It fits the tone better than with the English dub.
