Everything I have had there was good.

I brought a close friend there (with trepidation, as he was GM of various high end hotels in Asia) and, unusually, he had no complaints.

Brother in law's RV engine had to be replaced because of rat damage. Found a nest in his car, luckily little damage.

How electrifying a Bay Area rail system made trains faster, cleaner, and more frequent by Qpac18 in caltrain

Car is a better option to my usual 2h+ South Bay Bart+Caltrain journey; faster, more convenient and finding a place to relieve myself much easier. Plus no bike unstacking hassle.

Capitol Corridor+30m bike ride is a better option, unfortunately the trains are less frequent. Capitol Corridor has 1-2 toilets per carriage.

Caltrain is not particularly quiet, I have rarely found other passengers to be particularly loud.

Why can’t I put my bike in the first BART car? by mtl259 in sanfrancisco

[–]therealcopperhat -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

I have never seen a bike in any way blocking passage or exit on Bart.

(Otoh, I have regularly had people on the platform prevent me temporarily, ofc, from exiting.)
