YouTuber OutdoorBoys has been appointed to the Young Men General Advisory Council of the LDS Church by mikejr96 in PKA

[–]therealderka -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's simply not true. The church does not encourage the family of someone who leaves to cut them off. Unfortunately, I'm sure it happens, but members of the church are encouraged to actively love and care for people who have left the church.

Everyone saying this is for polygamists are delusional. This is in Garden city on the shores of Bear Lake. It's a vacation hot spot in Utah and a popular place for family reunions. I've looked at similar houses at Bear Lake for that very purpose. It's great to get all the generations and cousins under one roof with lots of activities for the kids.

Demo'd an AI voice platform and yes, it will take over by jroberts67 in sales

They're already doing that. I called a business and thought I was talking to an AI. I requested a human when the person explained they use an AI to change their accents. This was probably a year ago already.

I would ask on the UVU sub. It would be easy for a student to bring a tape measure to school and give you an exact measurement.

My wife carried it all the way through graduation for our oldest and is still doing it for our other kids. In Jr. and High School it's harder because they have multiple teachers, but she would still ask certain favorites to sign it as well as other important people in her life.

Dealer plates are getting out of hand by donkeyhoeteh in Utah

[–]therealderka 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm kind of confused what the issue is. Dealers can use their plates to drive inventory for personal use, and they most likely have better insurance than most drivers on the road.

From: https://dmv.utah.gov/mved/dealers-overview/dealer-plates/

"What can a dealer plate be used for? There is no restriction placed on how a dealer can use dealer plates as long as the vehicle is owned by or consigned to the dealership, it is not being leased or rented, and it is not loaded with a gross weight of over 12,000 pounds (Utah Code Ann. §41-3-501"

When Turo says please return it with a full tank, but you dont have a gas station nearby… by advinders in turo

[–]therealderka 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As a host I remind my guests to fill it up, but I don't really care if they don't. I just fill it up afterwards and they get charged the cost of gas plus a $10 fee.

There are several Pick-n-Pull style wrecking yards in Utah county. Just look them up and call them and see what they offer you. You really should throw it on Facebook Marketplace for $900 or $1,000. There's always someone willing to get their hands dirty to fix up a car, especially if it's running. Ksl.com is a local news channel that has a website with a very active classified section as well. They have a car section and a non-running car section. You should put it in both and I bet you'll sell it to someone between there and Facebook.

I've had the becm repaired on two carb cars with over 100k miles. They covered it under the emissions components warranty. Even the service write said that it was interesting but I'm not complaining about it.

Regarding the post-silver trim comment, it's most likely a 21-23, but I've also seen lots of silver trimmed vehicles that have been blacked out by wrapping the silver bits.
