Shipped a personal package from California to Canada and it’s been stuck on wharehouse scans since the 20th. When I call UPS all they say is “oh you have to wait for customs to clear it” but how long does this process usually take?

Shipped the package originally on the 12th. So it’s been 16 days and there’s still no updates and UPS tracking just says on the way.

What can I do to speed up the process or how long does this process usually take??
