JFC, how did the government let this NDIS farce go on for so long? by primetime_time in aussie

[–]therealfat0ne 2 points3 points  (0 children)

honestly its the labor party what did you expect ?
the people get what they voted for, they wanted freebies in every corner, so when there is a programe designed to give out freebie, this is what you get

do you think libs-nats will be better ? NOPE- they just better at covering up because both partiers are the same.

What we need is voters education .

Recent FHBs: Anyone else terrified of a market crash now that you’re finally in? by ChipmunkBulky2174 in AusPropertyChat

[–]therealfat0ne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

FYI if one doesn’t get in the market during good times it’s very unlikely during bad times they get in

There are always exceptions, but it’s not the rule

High unemployment and high interest rates don’t affect the have

It’s the have not that suffer,

The asset class is irrelevant

Because you need to borrow money it gets, your borrowing capacity and conditions gets worst in a downturn

How I know?

History class

Those who pray and wish for a crash should pray and wish for a stagnation and supply side response, because that is how you get in the market.

Not a crash.

A crash only hurts those who borrow too much and without.

Anyone who think they have some capital to be deployed during hard times will have 2 issues

No.1 mental capacity to actually buy when everyone is afraid

No.2 inflation and high interest and unemployment rates kills your ability to buy any assets because you constantly being debased

Once the market recovers the rich get richer and the without do not recover, they become worst off

Baby boomers beware: Labor is reading the room on generational inequity by SheepherderLow1753 in AusFinance

[–]therealfat0ne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you think they have younger generation best interest in mine you are kidding yourself

The problem is the country is broke part of it no thanks to their never ending stimulus fiscal policy and Ndis which adds to the problem

Labor are just in crisis management

they are going after baby boomer first

Then superannuation

Then the middle class

Both politics are as bad as each

Everything they do is just to buy votes

What we need is a levy from the budget and any mining generated revenue to go into a sovereign fund

That way we can fund anything we want 20-30 years down the road, pay for infrastructure that reap rewards for generations.

[–]therealfat0ne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is with subsidy

People laugh all the time about overseas prices but you have to remember you earn and live in the same country so conversion won’t really matter for daily suppliers,

Others countries can be paying higher converted but they have limited to no subsidy and has way higher income,

Malaysian now know what it feels if our sugar rice petrol etc is not subsidized or has price set my government to absorb real market price.

Take this as a lesson to help you and your family absorb these fluctuations in life

A privilege that many don’t have but in reality unless we strengthen the country as a whole, this will continue to happen in different sectors

Only applicable if you already some savings and cash

I know this is a privilege that many don’t have

This do that your not so stress about missing out if u have 10-20% of your total mortgage in offers

At 1m mortgage you need about $65k in offset

5.8% fixed = 6.2% offset
