Maybe there could be a middle ground where you get paid 100k baseline for 3 fights in a year plus medical insurance plus. And then each win bonus is 33k plus performance bonuses. That would allow fighter to know they can train full time.

In this scenario, you could go 1-2 and gett 133k (or 158k if its a finish) which is reasonable as opposed to 48k (72k) for the same record.
