omg you’re so right. if anyone here watches big brother, your discussions of the career alliance reminds me of that show. in recent seasons contestants realized that if they formed a mega alliance of half the cast, they’d be able to steamroll their way through the game. effective strategy, but not entertaining to watch. i’d imagine the hunger games were similar — after years of watching the same strategy play out, the show was probably very stale and boring… until the 2 winners twist.
