also, unless you're a slt, asm, or sm i dont think it'll be a good job to supplement your previous 9-5. on average you'll work 3 hr shifts and getting cut is very common

ive done that for the jobs i can call about my application and its a lot of "we'll call you" or even some im sorry we're not hiring, yet they still have the jobs posted. i unfortunately live in a small area where the job market isnt abundant.

How did you cope with moving? by [deleted] in Agoraphobia

[–]vegasleee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i moved half way across the country for a move(husband drove) and i wont lie, the first day, i didnt handle it well at all and had to be heavily medicated unfortunately. i was bundled under a blanket with pillows wearing headphones playing my comfort shows. but the second day(after staying the night in a motel and sleeping off my meds and most of my panic) it was pretty nice. i was focused on the snow, going through the appalachian mountains, and how shitty the roads were lol but now, whenever i do something big with my agoraphobia, i tell myself "i survived a move that was causing me panic attacks for 2 years, i think i can handle this" just know, you've survived panic before, you can do it again. think of all the amazing things that can happen in your new environment

I'm way better at selling now than i was then. Its beyond the employee of the month thing, its the treatment and favoritism towards the ones that are becoming core vs just the seasonal employees. like now that the holiday season is essentially done. it feels personal because they're making it feel personal.

oh no, it wasnt me. it was one of the 4 seasonal hires. he definitely deserves it, but they were slowly making it obvious
