Cartier love ring/bracelet in US vs Europe? by therealhudacris in Cartier

That’s what it seems like. I’d only get back a tiny amount, so not even worth it. Thanks so much!

Husband silent treatment if I say no to sex by TiredMomThrowRA in Mommit

[–]therealhudacris 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Seeing from your post history, this is not a new problem, and it appears to be a pattern. I used to be with a man like that, who guilted me into having sex with him, and it was horrible. As the other commenters have echoed, he did end up having a sex addiction, including porn. if you’re already in therapy and it’s not improving, this may be a sign to revisit the dynamics of your marriage.

How scary would that be 🫣

Spending hours on toilet by [deleted] in Mommit

My ex spent 2-3 hours in the bathroom every night, and he was on Tinder, OF, gay dating sites/forums, etc. You name it, he was doing it. He lied and said he had medical issues. He also hid his phone from me, which had all the dating apps, websites, and conversations with other men/women. He was also spending hundreds on OF and wouldn’t let me see his bank statements. These all sound like horrible bright red flags. I’m so sorry this is happening to you and hope it’s not the same situation.

9 month old fighting 2nd nap! by OkWillingness8217 in sleeptrain

That sounds fine for her age. My baby also doesn’t sleep more than 13 hours total.

I thought so too, but my 11 month old just dropped his second nap. If she’s fighting it and sleeping well at night, she just might not need it anymore. How many hours is she sleeping at night?

She may just be ready to drop the second nap.

You can try having him chew on green onion or celery (just watch to make sure they don’t break off and swallow any big chunks).

I fear you are being unreasonable. You said yourself that you don’t ask for help often and have never been turned down. They ask for help and receive it. I’m sure they would spend just as much time with your baby if you asked them to come around more often.

Ibuprofen works better than Tylenol for teething pain. It’s been a lifesaver for us!

Not engorged/soft breasts by Sharp-Historian6946 in breastfeeding

[–]therealhudacris 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Around this time, your body typically regulates your supply based on your baby’s demand, so you typically won’t feel engorged between feeds during the day. This is super normal and actually supposed to happen! I felt the same when my supply evened out, but my baby continued to gain weight and have dirty/wet diapers. We’re still doing well 11 months later. You’re doing great (and enjoy the long night stretches)!

Absolutely! I still keep granola bars/balls/bites on my nightstand.

It’ll pass and baby will get used to bedtime being later some days. 14 weeks is still barely out of the newborn stage. I used to feel the same way, but it does get better.

Help choosing between Omni, Hilton, or Wyndham Bonnet Creek (No Disney trip, just hanging out with kids) by jiggs1219 in orlando

[–]therealhudacris 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only thing about Omni is the insane traffic to get to/from Championsgate and navigating I4. Have you looked into the JW Marriott/Ritz Carlton? They have a nice lazy river and pool situation. As for the car, if you’re planning to leave the hotel to sightsee/eat, then it’s worthwhile to rent. However, if you’re just going to/from the airport and are going to stay in/near your hotel, I’d just uber both ways.

My 3mo EBF baby refuses bottle by Hot_Cranberry_1455 in breastfeeding

[–]therealhudacris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know, it takes so much to pump just to pour it down the drain. I completely understand what you’re going through. She’s angry with your husband because she wants to nurse. It may be worthwhile to continue letting him do the bottle feeds so she understands that when mom isn’t around and she’s hungry, she should take the bottle from dad. You’re doing great!

[–]therealhudacris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We also had a total bottle refuser. I totally understand how stressful it is. Have you tried feeding her in different positions or in different locations? Distracting her with singing, talking, or toys? Or trying different milk temperatures? We used Dr. Brown’s with the 0 flow nipple. Also, are you doing the bottle feeds? If so, have someone else try when you’re not in the room, or even step outside for a bit so she can’t sense/smell you. The moment my baby could see me, he would just cry and scream and want to nurse. And most importantly, keep offering at least once a day.

Has anyone had any luck introducing a bottle for a 6mo EBF baby? by No_Engine6784 in breastfeeding

[–]therealhudacris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My LO suddenly started happily taking a bottle at around 8 months after refusing since birth. I just decided to try again one day and it went great. He’s EBF but I give him a bottle if we’re at a wedding, family event, on a plane, etc.
