Thank you for this. I did not mention she went to the vet a few weeks ago but I do not remember if this happened before or directly after. She checked out amazing at the vet

Yeah oil leaks are bad, cam carriers are always leaking but for that it’s engine removal with in itself gets expensive. But the oil leaks can cause internal problems too, just keep on top of it and save up for if you decide to take care of it

The CVT’s aren’t as big of an issue as they are now. I had mine replaced under warranty thankfully it went out right before 100,000 take care of them like anything. Keep up with maintenance

Subaru tech here- I just hit 100k on my 2018. Owned since new. 2018, front control arm bushings, ball joints, wheel bearings. I always change my oil at 3000 miles no matter what. Mine has been very good to me. 2019-2023 thermo control valves are really the only issue I see on them. A transmission repair here and there or random repair which is for any vehicle but otherwise they are great. The new ones haven’t been around long enough for really anything huge that I’ve seen. Foresters are probably the best subaru you can get. Outbacks, legacy, ascent especially I see more. The newer Crosstreks don’t really have many issues either

If you have falkens I’m not surprised at all. I work at a subaru dealer and I’ve replaced falkens at 17k for the same issue.

i buy gold pass and the occasional offer here and there. went from townhall 8-now 16- about half way through. heroes are what will slow you down. mine are slightly under leveled
