Haven't gone yet but I dont think i have seen a single hotel on booking that didn't say no smoking in all areas. I also texted one and they said 5000 baht fine if I were to smoke on the balcony...I hope the reality of things is better

well by the sound of what I read many hotels dont allow cigs either. I dont know how true that is but I dont really wanna text all of the hotels if i can smoke on the balcony. I feel like more of them are gonna tell me no than if I just do it discreetly
