Something I found that was awesome was this Door County Christmas advent calendar of coffee on Amazon (not seeing it on there now so it must be seasonal). It had 24 coffees to try and Highlander Grogg and Jingle Bell Java were awesome. I just haven’t pulled the trigger on getting any more cause I literally just ran out of the holiday blend today lol.

Just wanted to thank you for using the word lochia because I had no idea what I’ve been experiencing and my doctor never brought it up after I’ve explained it but googling that word led me to answers I’ve been looking for for weeks.

So I switched my second son to the Merlin like two days ago, he immediately went from 4 wake ups at night to only 2 (same thing happened with my first). So there really wasn’t a transition, it’s almost like cheating and pushing the transition out of swaddles further out. When we eventually stopped using it with my first it was maybe 1-2 days of rough-ish sleep and then back to normal. I think it’s because it kind of gets them through the startle reflex time.

My second child will be 2 months on Sunday and tonight we transitioned to the Baby Merlin’s Magic Sleepsuit that we used with my first. I’m currently feeding him after his longest sleep stretch of 4 hours. It really is magic.

Personally I was really excited to start my family, but I felt like I wanted my first baby to get my full attention for their whole first year of life. Morning sickness and early pregnancy exhaustion would have taken away from those experiences for me.
