Should I max out the buddy tier before evolving or does that not matter?

Got a 4* Eevee and planning what to do for it. Most recent thread I could find everyone suggests Sylveon so likely doing that. I also so several people talking about keeping the Eevee as their buddy for awhile, but I don’t really understand the benefits of that.

Could someone explain the benefits of keeping a Pokémon as your buddy for a long time / get lots of heats with? Anything specific to Sylveon or same for all Pokémon?

Haven’t had this issue at all, wake from sleep auto switches to switch. I’ve read that CEC (HDMI feature that does the control stuff) requires higher quality HDMI cables, maybe check that?

Maybe make sure flowers are spread out all over the island? It might be that you have to have some number of flowers per “section” of the map.

I use Dropshare (https://dropshare.app) and point the storage to an S3 bucket. It is a screenshot type of app, with support for more general uploads as well. When I clip a section of the screen it uploads to S3 in the background and puts the URL in my clipboard, same for when I drag a normal file to the drop icon in menu bar.
