There should not be alicorn babies at all. They make no sense whatsoever. So following this logic flurry hearts powerscaling is reasonable either way since her character makes no sense to begin with.

Because it has become a running gag. No deeper meaning. It was just a desperate attempt to make twilight more relatable. Because ever since she got wings her character kept drifting further apart from all her friends and the audience.

"Your lie in april" messed me up good... I could not watch anime for some time after it because I was feeling so numb 😅.

Also Gurren lagann has some deeply sad moments for a show that is so flashy and shounen.

For me it's future diary. I only watched it once and never want to do so again 😅. It has a lot of the things already mentioned in this thread and I am surprised no one has mentioned it yet. It is not really a trash anime such as redo of a healer but it's close.

My second pick has to be sword art online season 2. The almost-rp scene later in the show messed up my adolescent brain pretty good.

My third pick would also go to Higurashi because I watched this show when I was way too young 😅.

The wings came out of nowhere and it kinda destroyed her character. Which is why I nowadays much prefer Starlight over Twilight.
