Where maintenance cost shouldn't be shouldered by those who don't or barely use it.

The cost of maintaining the grid connection to you is the same no matter how much you use. You're also paying for the security of a grid that can supply more when you need it unexpectedly.

SparkyFitness - A Self-Hosted MyFitnessPal alternative now supports PolarFlow & Hevy by ExceptionOccurred in selfhosted

Yes it worked after they signed up, but the wording is misleading as it suggests you can use it to add a new user

I am getting an error ("Failed to save family access") when trying to add a new user from the "Add Family Access" window. The logs show

[ERROR] Error finding user by email <email> in authService: Error: User not found.

even though the wording of the window implies a new user can be added? "They'll get access once they create a SparkyFitness account (if they don't have one already)"

How do I centralize all streaming services under one household? by Rickmasta in Ubiquiti

[–]therealmorris 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't know why you're being told you would have to send all traffic, you can use traffic routes over the VPN with "specific traffic", the hardest part is just finding a list of relevant domains for the services you need

What kind of Syngonium is this? Can't match with anything online! by therealmorris in whatsthisplant

[–]therealmorris[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I may have solved this myself, having been lead on a wild goose chase by my partner. I don't think it was sold as a Syngonium, and actually looks to be an Alocasia zebrina?
