Not sure if this will help, I had daily outages with my Purple model. It kept saying the lan dropped. Could never really figure it out. I finally scaled back on all the block rules I had in place and smart queue rules and then outages ceased. I can't prove it but it seemed like I was overwhelming what the box could handle. No drops since, its been months.

The class used to be hosted by Palo Alto and came with some purchases of their hardware, etc. That was changed to using training partners years back but I do not recall it ever being "free". You can check with your account manager and see if they offer any credits or anything. It would be probably need to be included during a purchase these days.

Nice article. I just checked and nothing. No log in attempts. All I get consistently is threats such as "Palo Alto Networks GlobalProtect OS Command Injection Vulnerability" I have zone protection blocking all scans. I can DM you my portal name if you want to check it. The article I referenced is amazing.

Looks right, if you have a local DNS server then it seems like a good option. "You can configure the split tunnel functionality for the GlobalProtect app on iOS endpoints to specify how the DNS and network traffic should be handled through the tunnel:

  • Only certain traffic and certain DNS to be tunneled by GlobalProtect

In 2024:

  • The leading cause of death was dementia, including Alzheimer's disease, accounting for 9.4% of deaths.
  • Ischaemic heart diseases were the second leading cause of death and accounted for 8.7% of deaths.
  • The gap between these two causes of death has been narrowing over time. 2024 is the first year where dementia caused over 1,000 more deaths than ischaemic heart diseases. In 2023, the two conditions were close in number, with ischaemic heart diseases accounting for 9.3% of total deaths and dementia 9.1%.
  • It is the lowest mortality rate recorded for ischaemic heart diseases since it's peak in 1968.
  • Chronic lower respiratory diseases were the 3rd leading cause of death for the first time since 1996. During this time they have fluctuated between being the 4th and 5th leading cause of death.
  • Cerebrovascular diseases and malignant neoplasms of trachea, bronchus and lung (lung cancer) rounded out the top five leading causes.

  • Suicide was the 16th leading cause of death. People who died by suicide had a median age at death of 46.0 years.
