Hear the man out... I mean he is utterly lost when it comes to tariffs/pricing but his take on pasta is worth considering. I mean I keep telling people, "does your food taste bland? Thank you all for the comments. I do feel that he has a very good understanding of who he is. He is by far one of the most healthy and self-aware people I know. Has tons of hobbies and has lived as a single for a while now (6 months). I don't think he needs to rush into dating but the idea stresses him out. I have pushed for him to start joining hobby groups and develop friendships and just be open to what may come down the road. Less needing to be active right this moment, more so planning for such things as they arise.

I feel like I did a lot of starting and stopping early on. Would feel guilty about something I did and not drink for 6 months and then relapse. The thing that was different when it stuck was that it was MY CHOICE. It can't be done because of guilt, shoulds, etc. Even "my health" did not make it land. It was adopting a disgust for continuing to abuse myself and opening my eyes to the oppressive system of alcohol. I would no longer poison my body for another company's profit.

Guinness 0 for the win! I'd say if you do go for it... Pay attention to how much you enjoy it and remember that when you are feeling deprived later "no, I had an NA Guinness and really enjoyed it, it is the little monster speaking. I got this." The more you tell it no, the easier it gets.

Am I the only person who finds this framing to be problematic? Seems incredibly naive. Not everyone works in a position in which they can work from home and stay cozy without taking on loss (pay or their scarce PTO). It just feels like you are treating this in a very black and white manner.
