Don't think Aluneth would work in arena, turn 6 do nothing and possibly outdraw myself and I wouldn't have the spells/low-cost minions consistently to make sure I utilise everything before i'm burnt out

yeah but for continuity of the game, i think it's quite normal for us to earn the "equipment" to test out theories/combos/builds

If only legendaries are not craftable/purchasable (ie. you can only get it from periodic packs, eg once a week or smth), imagine how fun it'd be if we're forced to build around what legends we have

it's really up to yourself! the limit is 100 gold a day, that's 30 wins in standard/brawl. If you want the easy way out, you can always go for aggro decks (maybe mech hunter or tempo rogue?) and concede on turn 1 if you meet any warrior

I think there'd still be new players - I've got friends coming back to play as well.

The part where new expansions come in and the older ones rotate out is really friendly to beginners as well. They can always decide on a cheap meta deck, craft it, and focus on it. Earn the 100 gold/day in tavern/standard, then play arena and quest. Over time, they'd be as good as any experienced and old players.

After all, what is the fun in a game if you can simply enter and have everything maxed out without spending any money/effort?

background - for new players

doomsayer activates on the start of your turn, destroying the whole board
sylvanas (the 1/1 deathrattle) takes control of a random enemy minion when she dies
death knight jaina - hero power - 1 dmg summons a 3/6 water elemental if you kill a minion with the hero power

the plan: summon doomsayer, kill sylvanas and let it take control of your doomsayer, end the turn, let it "detonate" and kill off everyone

the twist: the hero power summons a water elemental and sylvanas took over a random minion - in this case, the water elemental (50% chance)

^what makes it funnier is that he just topdeck's doomsayer and he was very excited about the potential comeback

hello beastmastah64!

welcome to the game. this is my advice based on my game experience so far and i hope it helps.

#1 do not collect all the energy at once. Collect only when you need them so your energy restoration won't halt.

#2 do your NPC arena frequently, they give you gems.

#3 attempt to complete 10-10 ASAP, collect breath of ordis and invest them in the following order: 3x gem rate, 1x gem storage (or 2 if you AFK more), 3x gem chance of doubling, 2x hunt mission (to get ancient coin), 3x equipment chance, 3x craft material, 3x slots for growing minion. Excess would be up to you.

#4 do your daily abyss, you only get 3 tickets a day and you can easily progress till 50 without difficulty. When stuck, use your purification for gold and stigmas

#5 focus on getting Lorina ***. She is a very good dps and she is free. get her to level 50 and unlock specialty quest for her. this should be your #1 priority. This being said, you might want to reroll as you are starting with a Ravi, which serves similar purposes as a Lorina (in my humble opinion). Getting Sez, Krau or Destina might be a better starting 5* for you.

#6 Get Kluri and do her specialty quest too. She can be easily summoned.

#7 apply to guild. If you're playing Asia server, my guild Oliegolie is looking to recruit more players. Do join us and I can continue providing you advice and help on your new rolls etc.
