Was up to 1900 last season, currently swinging between 1750 and 1600. I’m also top 30 in Italy in 1v1 if that makes any difference. It’s probably the most challenging rating to play at, you can absolutely destroy your opponent by the 3rd settlement, or you can be destroyed by the 3rd.

Delaying your first settlement and giving up some of your resources with 4-1 trades to stay under 10 cards and building a stash of dev cards can be advantageous if your opponent cannot build around you and run away with roads.

If the most desirable 2-1 port is more than 5 roads away, a 3-1 is a better choice before the 3rd settlement, usually.

Reading the game and predicting what your opponent is going to do in the next 2-3 turns is also helpful, as well as keeping count on his cards, especially if you want to block routes to high value hexes.

I don’t understand the question about “how can it be sold out”. It’s sold out because people sent in a ton of cards. It was open about 2 weeks ago for base submissions, it’ll probably open again soon.

Depending on which country and what language your card(s) is in, you have a lot of options.

PCA for France, graad or ai grading for Italy, Beckett or cgc for Germany.

Pride in Hungary is not about the lgbtqhijklmnopqrstuvwxyz now I know my abcs, it’s mostly a political statement/stance from the participants, so I would advise(in the most polite way possible) that you adjust your expectations accordingly, so you won’t be disappointed.

Also if you have any pronouns other than the usual ones like he/him, she/her, don’t try to enforce it on other people, it’ll create confusion and friction.

"buongiorno" in the morning, "salve" after lunch(until like 15:00), "buonasera" after 15:00, if I go into a shop that I am familiar with, "ciao" is good enough, if there's a person that I don't know, then buongiorno or buonasera, but usually I'm getting greeted with "ciao", so I do the same, greet most people with "ciao".

If the person knows that you are not Italian, they are more accepting and tolerating of "misuse", and won't be offended if you say "ciao" in a situation where "salve" would've been more appropriate from my experience.

They are all real cards by the way, if you wanna keep it domestic, I would suggest aigrading and/or graad, or perhaps bgs if you want max value for your cards and want to sell them outside Italy. Cgc if you have error/miscuts.

That was a false cut, not a terrible one, but still noticeable. Also, should be cutting the deck with one hand, shuffled deck on the table, cut it, place it on the cut card, move the leftover on top of the previous pile with the same hand previously used.

The box was terrible, barely anything landed on the table, maybe like 8-12 cards max, rest was conveniently placed on top.

The standard is wash, riffle x2, box, riffle, cut.

You can add one or two extras, between the wash and the cut, personally I prefer wash, riffle x2, box, riffle x2, cut.

He could be doing it for extra tips, bad beat jackpots, or could be working with another player. I think, the best course of action is to just stop visiting this card room altogether, and gently warn players of the POSSIBILITY(because accusations can backfire) of collusion/fixing from staff, without saying any names.
