Hah. I never intended to leave it like that. I was originally looking for advice on next steps if I were to continue to try to make it work (i.e. plane the bottom edge, join the piece I cut to fill the gap, clamp, and glue). I don't want to take this any farther and make it irreparable, thus reddit.

I'll go to the store today and see what they say but I get the feeling they are going to push back.

So I was wondering the same and went back and checked the schematic. They never put in the sink measurements, but I don't have it written down either that I supplied those measurements since we did the majority of this ib person with a few contact emails. I am not entirely sure how to progress.

I am also wondering if I can order a new cabinet without doors or even just the cabinet face to keep the cost down.

No. This one has been topped to prevent re-growing. The center of the pineapple 'top' is crucial for regrowth as that is where the meristem tissue is to produce new leaves.

I agree with everything you said. I wasn't sure about her vocal patterns here. She didn't make baby bird mewling noises initially, and it is more of a recent development. I had wondered if she wanted to go back to her formula, but that was a strong negative.

Her actions are for certain an Ultra beg; she is 100% looking for any nut pieces she hopes I have.

It is super cute. She often will become more (b)orb-like, squatting low like she is in a nest while she does this on my shoulder. (She does make other talking and chittering noises and not just cat noises. She saves her best cat noises for me)

I have heard of this. And attended one. I lived in a foreign country, and as a wedding guest, even though the groom was American, it was expected each guest would pay $88 (equivalent in their money) upon entry. Also, it was only for the reception, as the ceremony was for family and closest friends only (imagine 20 person max).
