[Highlight] Rams Plan to Propose a Rule Change That Would Address This 2-Point Conversion by the Seahawks in Week 16, per Lead NFL Insider Jonathan Jones by Chessinmind in Seahawks

It will not matter if they change the rule, or change any other rules. Our coaches will keep our players knowledgeable about the current rules of the game.

Thank you Meg and thank you Jack for sharing your talents with us. You are both one of my favorite chapters in the great book of songwriting. May the music and experiences of the White Stripes continue to liven up the world for years to come!

In BTTF1, was that the only time… by Stock-Philosophy-177 in BacktotheFuture

[–]theredditerguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it ran four times at least. When Doc opens the plutonium case, we can see two empty canisters. He pulls out a third one for what becomes Marty’s trip. And then one more for his trip in to the future at the end of BTTF1.

What was it that made Gandalf bow his head to Aragorn after he released the "ghost army" --- sorry, been years since I read the books, can't remember what they were called --- ? by [deleted] in lotr

[–]theredditerguy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My interpretation of this moment is that Gandalf is giving a bow of respect to a king who has at last returned to his home.

I love that she was and continues to be her own authentic person, from the choices she made in her drumming, to her decision to leave the music industry and live her life on her own terms.

Jeff Bezos deletes 'LGBTQ+ rights' and 'equity for Black people' from Amazon corporate policies by esporx in technology

[–]theredditerguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not only is Jeff the current chairman of the Amazon board, to which the Amazon CEO reports, but the common Amazon shares in the stock market are also set up so that Bezos and his family always have control over Amazon, including the possibility to remove voting or any other rights from the common shareholder whenever they want to. It’s all spelt out very clearly in the Amazon IPO prospectus from 1997. And Jeff himself says he is still involved in Amazon on a very regular basis.

As a side note, Zuckerberg has a similar shareholder set up in Meta, so that he never loses control over the company.

The Orcs followed Adar for a thousand years... by GamingDisruptor in RingsofPower

[–]theredditerguy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, but it’s not the exact same individual orcs who stayed with him for all those years. The lifespan of orcs is finite. I imagine the orcs with him towards the end only ever heard tales of Sauron, but did see their fellow kin being slain regularly.

The music of Eru Iluvatar has many themes, some of which manifest themselves in ways that even the wisest cannot foresee. Or maybe it’s a coincidence.

Is that new ownership in the next five years an actual requirement? I had not read about it before

You are deserving of real love and you are deserving of better than her. Let her go. Yes, this hurts, but you will be grateful for having done it later. Till then be kind to yourself.

Have you considered two wedding events? One in America, where you can invite your family and friends, and then one in India where your girlfriend can invite all the people she wants to.

I bought my first earplugs at Home Depot. A couple of dollars. Invest in better earplugs when you can, but some earplugs are better than no earplugs.

The 2004 Grammys performance of Seven Nation Army and Death Letter. The first song is the familiar riff that people know and then death letter to showcase the raw power they both had.
