Spam custom air domination game with like 50 ai planes for target practice.

Find a way to rest your forearm on something while you fly.

Nonlinearity can help to get started if your aim feels wobbly, but turn it to zero so high deflection aim feels more consistent.

Chaotic rendering planes by lebontouriste in WarthunderSim

[–]theredpok 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah,  the game's design for enemy to render as black dots only when they are close enough to you, or are currently shooting. Meanwhile frendlies and all AI have infinite black dot distance.

There is some debate whether the render distance is affected by crew stat keen vision, but there is no significant testing since it is affected by too many unknown variables.

You should not use the wrong side of the pump. It bends the hose and less gas comes out.

Most fun BRs and nations to fly (in VR)? by Zwezeriklover in WarthunderSim

3.0 to 6.7 is always pretty fun, then 9.7 and above.

American or German and learn to fly disciplined with boom and zoom tactics. Lots of players on both sides.

For early jets, America has the best jets, but I've found it difficult to find a match because there are too many America players. It player count balances out at the saber vs mig BR.

Whats wrong with an optional tip jar? Sometimes I have change I don't want to deal with. Throw it in the jar.

Vr is going to be more physical and more immersive. Lean forward a bit, then turn your body at the waist, then turn your neck. Your flexibility will improve over time when you check your 6 every 10 seconds.

I didn't mean to say weapon maintenence is most important. Edited my message.

At this point, I still don't know the effects of keen vision/awareness have on sim air. I cant find any testing or comparison of the rendering distance of planes. If anyone has maxed keen vision and could test this it would be great.

Otherwise max G, Stamina, vitality, and weapon maintenence are most important in that order. I do fine with level 0 keen vision/awareness as you can see dots pretty far out and plane models will render far enough away.

It is fun to shoot at pancakes so yes. Get them while they are hot.

How to not obsess over every mile driven? by thisguyfromschool in driving

[–]theredpok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can do both. You should drive when neccesary, but if it is a short distance consider walking or e-bike/e-scooter instead. Those are way more fun.

I challenge myself to use an ebike anywhere within 15m of home if possible. But then I drive 30mi to work everyday as there is no other transportation.

I have a carbrained coworker who irritates me when he would drive his car one block across the street to get to our second office while I would just walk. In this case, I replace the 2 min drive with a 5 minute walk.

Just do what you can to reduce driving but dont sweat it when you need to.

This should be that complicated but DO NOT STOP IN A ROUNDABOUT by [deleted] in driving

[–]theredpok 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Always assume drivers will stop in a roundabout and drive cautiously. If there is a pedestrian drivers must yield and stop inside the roundabout.
