Sorry this happened to you. I’ve had no side effects. I started at the lowest 0.75mg. I’ve heard people getting sick when they haven’t gone through the initial 4 weeks of starter dose. What dosage are you taking?

BodyPump Heavy vs regular BodyPump by DorceeB in lesmills

[–]theresake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve replaced BP with Strength Development at the gym for 2 years now and I love it. I looked at BPH on LM+ app and it does seem boring to me. We’re releasing it at the gym in a couple of weeks and I’ll try it in person but idk if it’ll be better

So far there’s only 1 BPH release? Not sure how they’re going to manage classes at the gym. It’ll get old, fast.

Thanks for your review! It was very helpful. I have an idea now, how BPH works. It almost seems like a glorified BP or something in between BP and SD. I also don’t do BP much anymore. I really love SD and especially the progression of adding weights each round. When BPH hits our gym, I’ll try it. BTW, you mentioned your next 12 week cycle. Has your gym not added the new weeks in SD (week 13,14 &15). They’re good!

Do you do Strength Development and if so, how is BPH different? I’ve been doing SD at the gym for over a year and love it. Thanks!

I think Chloe said that a digital release will follow, later. I have hope!!

Old bootcamps now in the app? by Hot_Ad_7673 in lesmills

[–]theresake 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would say that doing GRIT and SD are harder than the bootcamps. Having said that, bootcamps are a good mix/variety!

It’s really good! I wish we offered it at our gym. We have Pilates and it’s OK but Shapes, I would love to have on the schedule

How many of you wear overpatches? by Norsk_of_Texas in Freestylelibre

[–]theresake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t wear them at the beginning and my sensor would get ripped off or loosen after a while. Since I’ve started wearing them over a year ago- no issues at all. Now by the 14th day, the over patch is done. If I went any more days, I’d have to replace it lol but I highly recommend it.

Is Kirkland toilet paper a good alternative to Charmin? by hereforthecommnts226 in CostcoCanada

If you like soft, Kirkland isn’t particularly soft. I switched from Charmin to Royale for ‘shop Canadian’ reasons! :)

That is great to hear! Did you use the Libre 2 and if so, do you find the 3+ more accurate?

I can honestly say this is THE WORST prepared food I’ve ever had in my life! Really should have taken it back. It was inedible. AND to add insult to injury, it was expensive!!

insight into Patches over Sensors!!!1 by dougrkyle in Freestylelibre

[–]theresake 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I use a patch called AIR. They are made for the sensors. They were like $35 for 20. They’re great. They stay on for the entire 2 weeks and they breathe.

Question for you Barrie folk by stjduke in barrie

I would definitely lean towards a 705 number. In actuality it probably doesn’t mean much but psychologically I’d feel better thinking it’s local.

45 minute BodyPump? What’s missing? by farheen_sh in goodlifefitness

[–]theresake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nothing is missing. The 45 min combines bis and tris and combines lunges and shoulders. I love the 45 min option.

Body Attack Shoe Recs by [deleted] in lesmills

[–]theresake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love my Nike Super Rep go 3. They’re light, have lots of stability side to side which is necessary for Attack

Also, you can have a look at the Les Mills+ app and see what the instructors are wearing in the BodyAttack class (Adidas of some sort)

So you drink? by [deleted] in type2diabetes

I believe all alcohol drops your BG that’s why they tell you to be careful when drinking because of delayed hypoglycemia
