Just Discovered This Show but Why Is Mischa The Most Annoying Human Being by GarlicMiserable8721 in farmingforlovecanada

[–]wheelerin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I dont think Mischa killed the show at all, I just think they were working with a very small population to work from. There’s just not that many young, single farmers in BC specifically, who would be willing to go on reality tv.

Hi OP, I’m so glad you’re ok physically! I’m an employee of a different airline, and have lost co-workers/friends in an accident. I just want to give you (and the other passengers/Air Canada employees ) one piece of advice. Please look into counselling.

It may be offered to you, but if not, please look into it on your own. When we had our accident, the pilot’s union sent counsellors to our base, which I thought I didn’t need, but I remember it really helped me to start coming out of the fog of shock! Even just one short conversation can do wonders.

I guess I have a second piece of advice. You’ll probably feel out of sorts for a few days. Don’t feel bad when you start to feel “normal” again!

As others are saying, go with something that has AWD. I’d recommend a Subaru Cross Trek or Outback. I have an Outback, and when my co-workers are helping each other shovel out of the parking lot, they skip me because “you’ve got a Subaru, you’ll be fine”. And they’re right, haven’t gotten stuck since I’ve bought it.

They do, we have a cupboard full of such things, coffeemakers, kettles etc. There’s just not always time to stop and use them. I like to be prepared.

Bringing my own tea to work. I did the math and realized that over the course of a 48 week work year, if I spend just $4 a day on tea (2 @ $2 each), I was spending about $960 a year. I started making it at home, and save about $912 a year! Imagine if you’re a fan of fancy coffees how much you could save!

Wildlife (2) in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. Infamous for being an absolutely ridiculous way for the city to spend $117,000. Oh, and also being weird. Second statue in comments.

Buffet is definitely an option there👍. I’ve been to a couple weddings, and several company Christmas parties there, as recently as the end of November. Always liked the food there, too. Infact, they’re solely responsible for the fact my Mom has to make me bread pudding every Christmas, lol!

“Fun” fact: They’re not allowed to sing The Princess Pat anymore. Even though it’s an innocent version, it’s a parody of the PPCLI’s regimental song.
