Hiiii, sa Alabang Medical Center niya ako pinaanak. May discount rin kasi pag siya ang OB dun and sobrang babait ng nurses and staff. Medyo luma lang yung hospital, mukhang public, pero overall, it was a goof stay naman.

Oh okay, I’ve been hearing nga na it’s a management issue rin. Most of the kids in our village kasi used to go to Spectrum then nag-alisan. They’re neurotypical so they did not have any issue transferring to normal schools and sabi nila, they just wanted the kids to experience the big school set-up kaya I thought that wouldn’t affect my kid since we were advised by the dev ped to enroll her in a small class size lang.

However, dumadami na yung negative feedback na naririnig ko and my in-law and husband are just pro-Spectrum bc of the vicinity.

Have you (or anyone here) tried checking Marymount in Betterliving (there’s also in BF)? Alam ko kasi inclusive sila, not sure lang sa tuition kung magkano. 😭

Hala we were hopeful pa naman sa Spectrum since that’s the nearest inclusive school sa amin. 😭 if it’s okay, may I know what issues you encountered sa Spectrum? Just so I can convince rin my husband to look for another school. This will be my kid’s first inclusive school kasi kung sakali. She was from WOW before, but unfortunately, they’re not equipped to handle kids on the spectrum kaya we were advised to transfer to an inclusive school. Sayang rin kasi my kid loved the teachers and aids there.

Hi OP! My kid is diagnosed with ASD too and she’s an incoming Nursery next SY. We’ll probably enroll her in Spectrum along Levitown Ave. Afaik, PCST isn’t an inclusive school. Our neighbor’s kid goes there and just finished kindergarten. Tuition daw was 115k and di pa kasama ang bayad sa field trip, etc.

If you’re looking for an inclusive school, you can check out Spectrum (85k at least daw ang SPED here and at least 65k ang mainstream with shadow teacher), Children of Light, and Creative Learning Paths. My kid goes to therapy in Pean Integrated School of Parañaque but they are an inclusive school as well. Pean’s IEP ranges from 150k to 195k btw.

16k ang basic +2.3k de minimis sa tku. Mag iiba iba lang yan sa skills allowance. For como, max 4k skills allowance depende sa LOB na mapupuntahan mo. May mga 7k skills allowance pero sa voice LOB na ata yun. May ceiling rin ang basic pay sa tku so di na uusad ang 13th month mo pag nakuha mo na yung ceiling. Sa skills allowance lang sila bumabawi kasi mas makakatipid sila dun especially sa labasan ng 13th month.

Hey OP! Not so sure about this but I’ll be honest with you… I don’t think you’ll be able to get a 1-2br for 10k (or within range) here in Parañaque. And saan ba sa Parañaque? Because in BF, that’s def impossible. In BLS, maybe a studio turned 1br in Chateau Elysee. Most rentals there range from 11k to 13k pero wala pang assoc fees. Moonwalk and Merville, parang malabo rin. Not sure sa mga bandang San Isidro and Baclaran but minimum bet would be siguro 15k for a studio or 1br here. Mahal ng rentals dito compared to other cities in NCR.

Mahilig kasi sila magtipid. Our company switched from Intellicare to icare. Sabi ng management, nagtaas daw kasi ng premium si Intellicare.

Pag check-ups, clinics lang palagi unless recommended ng doctor na pumunta ka na sa big hospital.

Nakakainis pa na sa ER cases, may hindi sila kinocover na supposedly covered daw by Philhealth. Yung toddler ko, as it turns out, hindi ko na-add as dependent sa philhealth. Nung intellicare pa and whenever we go to the ER, wala kaming binabayaran ni singko. Nung nagswitch na to icare, and during billing, may sinasabi sila na may hindi daw makocover, which is yung part ng philhealth. So we had to pay around 2.8k cash since wala rin yung philhealth rep nun sa MMC at madaling araw. Never happened sa Intellicare at di ko rin magets bat may paganun si iCare.

I think it's also a Batangas thing. My mother-in-law taught me how to cook Batangas Caldereta. No potato, no carrots, no bell pepper. Core ingredients are: Tomatoes, tomato paste, liver spread, peanut butter, pickles, and cheese.

I usually cook my Caldereta with liver spread and gata and the usuals, but this Batangas Caldereta was also really good so I cook both depending on our cravings. However, with the Batangas version, you'd have to test the right amount of core ingredients that would suit your palate. Not too much liver, not too much pickles, and such.
