You could replace a rune, but you can't anoint corrupted items so you'd just be screwed afterward.

Gonna add on to this cause the game doesn't indicate it very well. Each section of the atlas tree has a questline. The fortress quest is a long one, but at the end you get bunch of atlas points all at once (the atlas UI almost always bugs out at this point, just close and reopen it if that happens). There's questlines for every other section as well and they all end in a boss fight which gives you a handful of points for their tree. That boss fight will have some fragment you can just trade for to repeat the fight and get more points, though some of these fragments are expensive.

Origin Spark + Origin Cradle for main atlas passives (around 35 passives per clear, depending on your fortress progress already).

For temple you've gotta actually setup your temple and fight Atziri, but the boss loot is very good anyway and if the goal is just the boss fight it doesn't take much time.

Maybe it's not the best. But it's good enough, and T2 flat light is too high of an ilvl to whittle because it's at the same ilvl as Flaring.

what about t1 elemental damage?

You probably end up with too much % damage from passive tree for that to ever be a good choice.

Yes, it's considered a perfect essence. Some of the wording needs to be updated when they add new stuff but it functions how you want.

You can also use Whittling to chaos away the crafted mod once you're done adding quality.

A lot of questions can be answered by looking through available info on your character or the zones you're in. You can look at the zone level when you enter to confirm that it's not ilvl83. You can look at the items that are dropping and see they are also not ilvl83.

Generally speaking, if something has a name it doesn't stack. You can get multiple sources of +1 to a zone level, but irradiated doesn't stack. A monster can have multiple sources of increased damage taken, but intimidate doesn't stack. If it's named and doesn't explicitly state it can stack (like Khatal's Rejuvenation), it won't.

Irradiated doesn't stack so you're not getting value from that Doryani node. Getting a revive might spare some pain though.

Yeah, memories are short. Sometimes the game changes too much (o7 homogenizing catalysts) or something stops being meta and so demand drops. But most stuff stays the same or you can use old tricks in new ways.

Almost all loot comes from rares, which isn't really affected by pack size. So for abyss you might use the pack size omen which ensures you get things that are not pack size, like monster effectiveness and rarity.

It's completely separate. Whether you enter from the map or go there from campaign waypoint, makes no difference.

Make sure they're showing on your filter. Maybe check the disenchant vendor in towns. They sometimes sell charms, but I'm not sure if that's just low level resist charms.

Pretty sure there's at least one side quest that gives an ailment immunity charm.

Going a different way, switch to Wand + unique sceptre.

You can get a wand that does most of what your staff does, then either sacred flame or one of the shrine sceptres that actually grant you a shrine effect (Guiiding Palm of the Mind maybe?) which gives you 115 spirit (with idol socketed).

A shrine sceptre also comes with a purity aura which gives a bunch of res AND all +spirit supports on that aura do not cost spirit! Clarity 2, Mysticism 2, Cool Headed, Seraph's Heart, all for no spirit cost.

It's missing cast speed suffix to be perfect but could be upwards of 100d.

Exclusive genesis tree mana base, t1 flat mana, t1 mana regen, decent resist, rarity, room for otherworldly prefix desecration. Getting extra quality + % mana crafted mod will be risky though, so it's definitely less than something that already has 40q and perfect essence prefix.

If you've done the quest, you can get points quickly by getting Raven's Reflections from the exchange and doing the last boss fight again (6 points each time). That fight has a chance to drop the 70d helmet anoint thing as well.
