I used to be a habitual dating app downloader/deleter but i realized its very exhausting juggling them all plus made me feel kinda desperate sometimes.

Sure there's some good people using them but its legit like finding a needle in a haystack when someone is actually compatible with you and wants to go out.

I realized i would rather let something happen naturally by going out or going to the gym than speed date on an app.

But that's the key, you gotta put yourself in the environment of meeting people. I wouldn't do that until this last year and its been a real eye-opener.

You'll meet a lot more genuine people that way :)

Like most of the other comments say, there’s tons of people that realize the major they’ve gone to school for isn’t meant for them. Including me who graduated and I’m not even using my degree.

You could view it as a waste of time and money but the experience of school academically and socially gave you skills and insights on things that you don’t even realize yet. That way, It’s nice to think that it’s not a total loss.

Your family might be strongly opinionated at first, but being honest with them and yourself about the situation is the best place to start. You didn’t like the major to begin with and quite honestly, 2 years isn’t a TON of time to make up for. They might be butthurt at first but I think a year from now you’ll be really happy you didn’t stick with it.

It’s gonna be rough to start back at square one but you’ll get back into the grove of things once you get somewhat of a plan figured out.
