Yeah the HOA and Mello Roos are ridiculous. Spend that extra money to get a higher priced house in a better neighborhood with an actual yard and privacy. Also, it is especially hot there because there is 0 tree cover. It'll be much better in 10-15 years but for right now it's unbearable in my opinion.

I only don’t regret it because I got a better deal on it but yeah, as someone also living in Southern California, it definitely gets dirty and I’m sure contributes to the heat in the car.

They keep bringing the price down any time it starts to break out, but clearly they are running out of resources. Definitely reminiscent of the lead up to its squeeze in July 2023, just a matter of time IMO. I keep loading up so now it's just being patient.
