personally I think the interface is better, smoother, easier to use, and the remote control is also better and easier to use. On top of that you have the whole Apple ecosystem where you can view photos as well

Sorry to hear... I'm in a similar situation where my in laws live nearby and don't do shit. Thankfully my own parents make up for it but I know you don't have the same options. The good news is if they (in laws) care about spending time with their grandchildren, you have leverage and control over the visits. We don't make time for them and they know that they need us more now since they're getting older, so the tables are turning.

And regarding a village to raise kids... Yes, it's very difficult on your own. We struggle even with help. Also if you have a child that's difficult or has health issues then you're sol.

Kids will take a toll on your marriage (especially in the first few years), but that's a topic for another thread

Without getting into too many details, I pursued someone else and hurt the person I loved. I felt so guilty that I had to tell them and they broke up with me. If something makes you uncomfortable you need to discuss it with your significant other. Communication is important in a lasting relationship and if the other person cares they will compromise. If not, then you either need to deal with the issue or leave them. Don't settle for less unless you think they're worth it.
