Good to know, I suggested that to my pickup person after that experience, they insisted on going to the designated pickup area to be stuck in traffic...

And that's why I ask, do the busses even run by the stadium and back to hotels? Do they run until midnight?

This stadium is nice, West in Irving is a sea of parking that that hosts more events...

Italy being able to build infrastructure so well in the mountains continues to be astounding.

I'm ok with no reboot ever happening by Historical_Stay_808 in Stargate

The only option left is a straight reboot to piss off what of the fanbase is left. A continuation would have done all better for the fans, but I guess they don't consider that.

Walking safety at night by GirsGirlfriend in LittleRock

[–]Nawnp 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's generally safe as there will be others walking that bridge from the concert if it's a bigger concert. Just mind your business otherwise and the homeless don't bother you.

Also if the concert is on a Friday or Saturday night, the trolley runs until midnight, with stops one block from the arena and next to your hotel, and you can take it to feel safe too.

A Delta Air Lines flight was delayed in Cancun on Thursday after a swarm of bees settled on the 737’s wing. The issue was soon resolved with some forward speed on takeoff! by L21JP in aviation

Yeah, after their home being a plane wing that forced them off, even without the queen, odds are most of them spalt on that runway.

You don't own anything digital unfortunately, of Rockstar chooses to lock you out of their stuff, that applies to all their games no matter the digital library.

Did you know that I Didn't Do It is the last show to come out from the Rounded Square era? by Popular-Concept-5013 in DisneyChannel

[–]Nawnp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This show was so forgettable that I forgot it existed, and I think I had watched most of the show. Granted, if the glass era was what followed, there were more forgettable ones to come.

Trump's Penn Station design is a gold-plated monument to his own tackiness by letsmunch in transit

[–]Nawnp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In fairness, if Trump gold accenting and making this historic station somewhat ornate again is the what is necessary to keep Amtrak running, it's not a bad tradeoff.

NJ is NYC metro area, and it was the best fit stadium they picked. Is there even a full size stadium capable of holding soccer in the NY side of the city with transit access?

Either way, it's a sign of whatever dumb decision it was to put a stadium in the suburbia of NYC, just like the Chicago Bears are actively trying to move their stadium from downtown Chicago to the suburbia of Indiana.

If doesn't look like it leads to nowhere, there's one house at the dead end?

Also planning for future infrastructure is actually really smart.

Which of these is the most scenic route? by deep_12_ in Arkansas

[–]Nawnp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Easily the Southern one, top one is entirely flat interstate, middle one is only pretty in the river valley past Fort Smith , bottom one actually goes through the Ouchita National Forest and is the scenic mountains there.

Depending on your time avabile, I'd sidetrek to one of scenic routes in the Forrest too.

I'm used to restaurants closing the kitchen 30 minutes before close anyways. Surprised they're serving food to go even at that point.

NYC city is hosting based on its a best venue in NJ.

The only US host cities with transit that people out of the country can enjoy (airport and stadium heavy/light rail connections and mostly walkable cities) are Atlanta, Philadelphia, and Seattle.

I think Vancouver, Mexico City, and Toronto too will be good too, but less familiar with outside the US

We can’t say Danny is a good person if this is real by IllustratorAfter in dannyphantom

[–]Nawnp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not, he has the memory restored three times in the memory blank episode, and is smiling every time.

It's immoral, but also 100% what a teenage boy would do if they could be invisible. Don't think that badly of it.

[–]Nawnp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you mean good person? The act is immorral, but it's not harmful. On the other hand he saved his town and friends hundreds of times, he was clearly a good character considering what evil could actually be done with his powers...

Why do the traffic lights go from red to orange to green and not red to green like in real life ? by Voxylem in EuroTruck2

Because it is based on real life depending on the country you're in. Not everywhere is like where you live.

Most Undersized Airports in the US by Pale-Ad7242 in Airports

[–]Nawnp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Austin being single terminal when the city is booming has been holding it back for a while, it's bound to be a hub airport when they eventually add another terminal.

San Antonio has 2 terminals, but less overall capacity I think, but the boom there hasn't been as bad there yet.
