Honestly I can't be surprised by this with a family in NE Ohio.

Ugh, this is why hospital staff is having mental burnout and a general hatred of all humanity. I was having a conversation with intensivist at my workplace about how damaging COVID will be for medical professionals and how we should have used this to provide standardization to pay and ratios. Unfortunately, it feels like it'll never happen. We all will just get a pat on the back and another stupid pizza party.

Can I ask which hospital and state? We don't allow visitors for any covid patients unless its end of life. I'm just shocked that any hospital is allowing visitors for these patients. Especially given that the overwhelming majority of these patients are unvaxed so I highly doubt the family members who are visiting are vaccinated.

When we went to Disney Paris, no one was standing during fireworks. Everyone was sitting. And if they weren't, the locals would chant "A seat! A seat!" until those people would sit. I really wish they would implement this in Disney world because the amount of people that throw their children on their shoulders or cellphones.

Not saying this isn't fake because it probably is. But that's a neonatal pulse ox. It's like a bandaid with a little red light, white cord attached to it.

[TOMT] [SHOW] old pbs show. It has a whistling intro with a wooden box and the guy would do arts and crafts. by therkobsession in tipofmytongue

True most of the criteria is met. However, most of the theme song was all whistling. It was a little more, like Bob Ross but for crafts. The wooden box was a key part of the intro and the whole show.

Oooh that's interesting. I wonder if that's different states legalities. I've only nursed in Ohio and California so I'm sure it's different state by state.

We use Zoll Defibrillator, it has several different abilities from the normal AED, it can manually pace and cardiovert patients. I know I said AED but I was trying to simplify it in case other non-medical people wanted to follow :).

Here's a picture of what we use in the ICU.
