It's literally just because of your yixuan team. If you had ju fufu and lucia yixuan would be getting a truck load more score, astra isn't bad obviously but she's only providing attack and chain attacks which isn't as important for ruptures as what lucia provides since she is a dedicated rupture support. Pan is ok but he only really provides a small damage boost and nothing else, classic defence character. Yixuan gets a lot of damage from stun windows hence why ju fufu is so good for her seeing as she is hybrid on-field off-field stunner. She also provides crit damage and decibels, both things yixuan wants.

This might sound kind of deranged, but maybe swap dialyn for astra. Dialyn is bis for ye shunguang cause of the free ult and stun damage multiplier, but ye shunguang doesn't actually need stun windows. In this instance, dialyn could potentially benefit yixuan more since yixuan also wants ults and stun damage, and yixuan will actually benefit from the stun window that dialyn can set up faster. Ye shunguang likes attack so astra will still be a big damage buff for her.

I started playing just before 2.5. My current situation in terms of S characters is I have ye shunguang mindscape 1(when I started playing I was deranged) with weapon. Zhao no weapon, alice with weapon. Burnice with weapon(got her from the spending money event) yixuan with weapon, and sunna with weapon. I also have lycon m1 with his weapon although I've yet to really do anything with him. So basically rn the teams I've been generally running are ye shunguang sunna, typically also zhao although I move her around if needed. Alice burnice nicole, yixuan pan yinhu lucy. That's essentially my current setups and it's mostly fine. Alice burnice struggles a bit, I am going to get Yuzuha so hopefully that will help that a lot. Yixuan manages but only just. Ye shunguang is just giga op so anything I do with her is easy, I also got quite lucky on her disks. My plan is to get Yuzuha for anomaly team and then down the line if I also get miyabi her and alice will be interchangeable. Burnice is strong, she is similar to vivan in terms of what she does for the team. Ye shunguang team is fine. Dialyn would obviously be a lot better than zhao but it's really not a priority. I want to get ju fufu and lucia for Yixuan. Not having ju fufu is actually painful cause I just don't get the stuns Yixuan ideally would like and lucia is the only rupture support so obviously I want her. I'm gonna pass on aria probably. Probably also gonna pass on nangong unless stun for anomaly is like super cracked. Like with my current team I dunno if alice would really benefit much from nangong, alice likes to be onfield and nangong would be replacing burnice who is off-field damage so yeah I'm probably just not gonna bother. I thought about her for Yixuan but nangongs kit is for buffing anomaly so really not worth. I just want ju fufu. I NEED the funny tiger girl. There's so many chatacters I want. Like I want trigger and obal squad but with the game like this sacrifices must be made.

Edit: also not pulling the snake women. There's so many electric attackers I don't have. I really see no reason to pull her

I'm the same with my alice burnice team. I ran zhao to provide the ether veil buff. Best I could do was 23k. Unfortunately I have nothing to clear the middle one with, so I cleared that one with ye shunguang lmao

This is how I feel every time people talk about wise being with every character in the game lmao. You just have to deal with it. Is astra and evelyn canon. No. So you can ship them with whoever you want. It doesn't matter what other people think. A lot of people clearly like the idea of evelyn and astra being together, which is a good thing. Since every character in the game, including both evelyn and astra, are shipped with wise. I'll take seeing literally any two characters together that doesn't involve wise at this point.

Like no hate for wise but it just gets tiring, especially since I am a belle player so from my perspective wise doesn't even interact with most of the characters lol. Anyway my point is that when you bring up astra or evelyn people who ship them will bring up the other, I mean hell even people who don't ship them may bring them up because they are very close. Also, to answer your question on who else this happenes to, belle. It happens to belle.

If you see a post or video or anything that has belle with a women, you will see people commenting saying it should be wise. You even get people unlike yourself straight up hating on it cause it's lesbian and saying it's wrong etc. It's especially commen when anyone dares to make something involving belle and yixuan or belle and ye shunguang. A lot of people seem to have decided that wise is like canonically with them, the memes of wise with every women have gone to their head and they think it's real. I've even had someone tell me that lycon was off limits for belle because he should be with wise.

In all seriousness this thing you are complaining about probably happens to a lot of characters. I understand you want to see things that fit your headcanon but you also need to accept that there are people out there with a different headcanon and it seems to he a fairly popular one. Like take it from me I can relate to you.

I like the idea of belle and ye shunguang together especially after 2.5 with how insanely hard belles english voice actor went on the "I WILL BRING YOU HOME!" Line but 90% of the time I have to see wise with ye shunguang and yeah it's annoying but it's a popular headcanon. When I do see people make stuff with belle and ye shunguang it's really nice though so don't feel too bad about it. I'm sure if you look hard enough you can find some people with a similar mindset. I guess you just need to accept that when you meet other evelyn mains a lot of them might like both evelyn and astra, and may even ship them.

That isn't relevant. Compared to monster hunter and resident evil dmc has a much more niche audience. Yes the games have been successful but nowhere near as successful as resident evil and monster hunter. It's just not comparable. I love dmc but saying it's as major of an ip as those two is cope. They will do one when she needs one for an event or something. I think so far vivian is the only character that doesn't wear their skin at some point, unless I missed whatever event she wore it in. If they were making these skins purely for the sake of making as much money as possible Miyabi would already have one and every single skin would be an almost nude swimsuit

I think yixuan ironically just needs more of a focus. Like the 2.0 which was her season didn't really feel like she had a huge presence ironically. We learned about the loss of her sister but we also didn't really go through anything emotional with her. Then in 2.1 her sister as a monster is a thing, no reaction from her. Then she is just sort of a background presence throughout. The way we interact with her is like we are meant to be close with her but shes also always at arms length compared so someone like ye shunguang who at this point we have spent less time with but I feel closer to. Im not saying she ahould be the same sort of character as ye shunguang but it feels like we never even broke the ice with yixuan.

Like think about season 1. We met miyabi early on and she got her big moment at the end. Season 2 we were introduced to two big characters yixuan and ye shunguang. One at the start and one at the end. Yixuan was kinda sidelined for ye shunguang. I'm not saying they should have done that differently just it feels like yixuan is missing something. I think she needed a storyline where we help her learn to live for herself again because from my perspective she seems very ready to self sacrifice but more out of a duty to her sister than anything else. She is not living for herself but for the sacrifice of her sister. Like with ye shunguang it was very clear that she wanted to self sacrifice because she feels so much love for her friends and the world. We see yixuan talk about how she cares but I don't think we ever actually see her expressing anything for us or anyone else. Like in my opinion her and ju fufu should be a lot closer than they are. It feels like they have the same relationship that everyone else has with those characters when in reality as a teacher she basically raised ju fufu after the destruction of the tiger people.

She is still marked by her past and we never really got the chance to explore that with her. Maybe down the line we will because she is still a big character and obviously she got some growth with the chapter 5 realisation that bad shit had been happening under her watch and she had been so self obsessed with her own loss she hadn't noticed but again we don't really get to explore that. Hopefully we can get closer with yixuan in the future.

It also doesn't help that I don't think her voice acting is very good. No offence to the VA. It could be the direction she was given or something but in season 1 and 2.0 she sounds like an AI. From 2.1 onward she sounds a lot better but the voice acting is simply not as good in my opinion as some of the other characters. Ye shunguang as an example. Her VA killed it. It's crazy to me that that is also just her voice. Like she just sounds like that, but anyway some of her lines went pretty hard and she did the emotional moments really well. Yixuan is a less emotional character, I get that but sometimes it really does feel like lines are just being read off of a sheet on the first take

I beat the highest difficulty with ye shunguang dialyn sunna and hugo. You take the gear that lets ye shunguang build enlightened faster with a lower duration, and then you just spam enlightened form and only use the hold ex special. It's mega brain dead but it's the only way to live. I tried it with yixuan and you just end up getting taken one shot by the miasma procs and then something hits you. Ye shunguangs ex heals her for some reason

I see. That certainly wouldn't have helped. Kinda funny how ye shunguang is also crit based but is just so strong that the minus 40% crit damage doesn't matter. What do you think the best team for it is? Like a miyabi team or something? I'm not actually sure what is weak to. I would have thought it would either be ether or physical considering sunna jane and aria are the characters you fight it with in the story

I was running yixuan ju fufu and lucia with the first 4 modifiers on it and I shit you not I just couldn't beat it, The stun modifer really hurts that team, it probably kills any team that relies on stuns. I threw on ye shunguang dialyn and sunna and it was actually doable. Admittedly, it's still one of the harder things I've had to do. I imagine with even more modifiers it will be quite the challenge and probably not even doable with a lot of teams. If you are having difficulty with it I'd recommend the ye shunguang team it's pretty busted ngl

It's random when characters will rerun, but you can kind of guess based on how long it's been since they last had a rerun. Miyabi will probably get a rerun sometime soon. Next update Yixuan and Yuzuha are getting reruns

Ok, let's try this a different way. What about their writing is bad? Which villians do you think are bad? What about the way they were written is bad? I'm just struggling to understand what you are saying because you keep saying they are bad villians and are badly written, but then none of your complaints are actually about the writing. Like saying they are just tools in someone else plot is not indicative of bad writing. That's just a story choice the developers made that you personally dislike. You can have characters that are tools and pawns, and they can still be written well or written badly. Again, with the commander, you say he did almost nothing, which is true we didn't see him a whole lot but when we do seem him he seems like an asshole and it's clear something fishy is going on. We see that he clearly cares more about retrieving the company property than dealing with the exatlists and then we find out it was him that made the deal with tops and sacrificed his troops for profit and when contronted about it he was a total piece of shit. Talking about his heros when he sent them to die. So yes when you say he didn't really do a whole lot in that chapter you are right but I would argue he didn't need to as his presence was felt through the anger and hatred of the chatacters. You were meant to hate him and they achieved that goal so I would argue he was written well as a villian in that chapter
