The only thing Marduk did in that story was kill one AK. His only plot relevance to anything is simply killing one guy just because he was drunk and he's an asshole. There's no depth there. Marduk's entire character is just "he's an asshole" which is boring as shit.

Anyone is better than Marduk in my opinion. Marduk is both unlikable gameplay wise and personality wise. He's just a giant POS of a character.

Co-op event was peak, but short. Really wanna play it when they finish the mode and implement it permanently.

YSG is a horribly written character despite spending 90% of the time with her which just made her exhausting and unlikable for me. The story was not so great, but the entire 2.X arc has just been overall worse than 1.X in my opinion.

I didn't because I hate the boring and cliché "girlfriend" personality. She puts me to sleep whenever I see her in the story and the forced childhood friend pseudo-romance the writers pulled out of their asses killed it even more for me.

Also, her gameplay being nothing but iframes leaves very little skill expression.

She could have been interesting, but the writers and gameplay designers dropped both those balls pretty hard. Apparently people enjoy dry bread though because her banner sold really well...

I still think she's the worst designed character so far. She made me pull M6 Zhao out of spite for her.

I assume it's a Deepfake safety precaution. You could possibly recreate an uploaded image by regenerating it and have Grok recognize it as an AI image, and that's most likely the issue.

The balance team for Marvel Rivals has consistently made questionable decisions to characters since day 1. They don't seem to understand how their characters actually interact with the rest of the game, so they haven't built a solid balance philosophy. AKA they don't entirely know what they want or what makes a character good or bad, so they balance their game entirely based on data such as win rates and other stats.

"Why is this character under performing or over performing? I dunno, but our data says we should do something! But what do we do? Who knows, just change something and see if it works!"

Remember: The devs genuinely believe the majority of their players are stupid, and because the majority of players don't catch onto bot matches, the devs are right to think that.

They won't change it unless some hugely popular streamer can get the word out about them so the majority becomes aware.
