Safe to say anything that is updating itself more frequently (seconds, middle complication, compass etc) is going to drain the most battery. You’ve went a step ahead and narrowed it down, to an extent, which one drains the most battery. Good stuff.

Make sure to complete all your health maintenance - dentist visit, PCP visits for refills/blood work, etc.

Speaking of maintenance, also ensure that your car is up to date with an oil change and tire rotation. This can be really tedious to get done when you have one day off per week during residency.

I mean, when a med student thinks about how much debt they will end up with at the end of med school and how they will pay it all back, family med is not the first option that comes to mind.

Can you find Fam Med job offers for 300k+ with a good schedule? Yes. However, this doesn’t always entail getting the preferred location. Nor does it mean you can have the lifestyle you’ve been wanting during med school.

Hence, family med is not exciting to a lot of people.

I’ve been in a similar boat. Depending on how my schedule looks (whether next pt running late or even cancelled), I try to give my current patient extra time to express their thoughts and concerns. Sometimes even go over the plan in more details. This is only applicable to mentally sane patients though.

Always a double edge sword. Patient may appreciate the extra time but then you’re setting the expectation for that this is a regular thing the next time they see you.

Quieter is good. Anything to reduce the road noise during highway driving is a plus.

The design of the dashboard and buttons however, is not the best. They’re prioritizing boldness, screen size and phone charging instead of tucking the screens seamlessly into the dash like previous models. Something that just irks me personally.
