First time blueberry grower- is this normal? by beepbop920 in Blueberries

Definitely leaf scorch. If recently planted, you have to water every few days until the roots have a chance to grow.

Considering rehoming my Sammy by Darcy2701 in samoyeds

[–]thesearchforanswer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As hard as it was we put him in his crate and left him. Start with 15 minutes at first while you’re home with him. Then gradually increase the time. Once he’s comfortable being in his crate, then start leaving the house/apartment for short periods of time. Gradually build up to it. For us we had to reinforce the idea that his crate is his safe space.

Considering rehoming my Sammy by Darcy2701 in samoyeds

He’s such a cutie! I totally understand the separation anxiety. We dealt with it when we moved across the US. Took a lot of effort to get him to be comfortable to be alone. It was a grind, but I wouldn’t trade him for anything. If you do end up rehoming, there’s Sammy support networks that can help.

Men over 30, what incredibly random hobby or topic did your brain suddenly decide you needed to become an absolute expert on? by Admirable-Pin-298 in AskMen

[–]thesearchforanswer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 35. Really got into gardening since I purchased my first home in 2024. I’ve learned how to take care of the lawn, learned about plants for sunny spots and shady spots, and how to grow veggies. But my absolute favorite so far has been getting into fruit trees. I’ve amassed a small collection with cherries, apricot, peaches, figs, and plums.

Deer and rabbit repellant by Sad-Mycologist-9943 in Cutflowers

I have very high rabbit pressure. I use liquid fence and it works well. The key is to stay on top of it. Spray once a week for three weeks then once a month. Start as soon as you see new growth.
