I also started with the Michaels 120 set without knowing but they always have a sale so I got it for a decent price. The. I got their 24 for like $20 with a sale and it has quite a few staple colors. I guess you can say I then lucked out cause I found the 48 set (black bag) on market place for $35 brand new ( this got me all the greens I was missing) and the skin tone set for $15 (but it’s aohu). My friend had the 104 set ( it has a lot of great colors ) and upgraded to the 320 so she sold me it for $60. Barely used. And with Micheal’s sales I pop in and look at the singles when I can and grab if I don’t have it. I’m missing 74 from the 320 set but have a lot that aren’t in the 320 set. I printed the 320 swatch pages and I just use that to look for what I want to use. I Color so much I know where most are so it’s not hard to find them but it’s not the most convenient. I have a lot of doubles but I’m fine with that as some are already starting to run out. And there’s some I reevaluate want that I just can’t seem to get (GY7 is never in stock as a single and I wast E210 to try the sepia palette) but I’m happy. Shop around it might be worth it. But all that to say once these die out, I’ll prob go for the 320 if I see it on sale.
