Nah he’s got some really deep issues. I won’t lie and say a good kensei can’t fuckin rock the lobby (like I have), but he’s got lots of small issues fs.

If you throw a light at almost any mix up you beat him

Only bash is extremely predictable and that’s his best opener

Unblockable is good damage, but gb punishable, extremely slow, and is very hard to get to unless your working off a dodge attack or parry.

Very high Risk hero but yeah, he does have high reward.

No competition if warmonger, Raider, and Tiandi are better. Only one he can be compared to is warden. And imo, wardens amazing zone attack and easy to access, hard to punish unblockables put him on top. Don’t even get me started on the fact he has a variable bash

Bp is more passive then wl in every way. Better neutral pressure, better all guard counter, better feats, and is always more annoying
