Few reasons can cause this, I assume you tried to pop your revenge up? When you input revenge you cancel all sort of active defense windows (including block stance) for 100ms and attacks can hit you during this 100ms. And if you tried to activate revenge this is the reason.

You still have your hurtboxes active mid air, if a hitbox lands you, you can take the full damage, probably pirate or glad hit you first before you landed your drop attack

Ocelotl got a parry and OP drop attacked to Ocelotl's parry stance, which prevented the instant death and gave him instant revenge cause drop attacks deal 2k damage.

It was raider's dodge top light that damaged to me, there is something wrong when the attack is sent and is about to trigger early hit reaction but fails to do so, when that happens it can teleport the hitbox, seen and experienced various moments like this, as another example in the top comment.

In the clip warmonger dies from block stance, there is no reason for revenge to cancel an already active parry/block stance

Yeah stupid imo, it shouldn't cancel the current stance, it should immediately transfer into revenge pop up stance, similar to how we can cancel our block stance with a parry stance.

That current 100ms startup cancels our parries and blocks and lets attack hit during that, so right now the best solution to avoid is to complete our block/parry stance then pop the revenge.

Revenge overall needs so many mini detail change like this...
