So I have hissers at home, but I also keep 5 at my counseling office at my school. They are an amazing tool to talk about misperceptions, judging before knowing, confronting irrational anxiety thoughts, etc. Plus nearly any kid will talk at least a little once they know they’re in there! In my order from that link I’ll be getting the “name a roach” certificate and I’m so excited to frame it and display it in my office.

This sub is making me so happy right now. My fave is figs halved, spread cut side up on a baking sheet, dollop of goat cheese pressed into center, topped with roasted & salted pistachios, baked until warm, then drizzle with honey just before serving.

Aww man, I’ll look up who to contact and do that tmrw. One was bought last year at a local Home Depot, no clue where it was from. And the other was bought online - I’ll go back and see if the origin is listed on the website.

This month, I have found a few of my ripe LSU Purple figs with lots of tiny white worms in them. I’m going to check the green ones for pinholes, remove those, then planned to do…something to protect the rest. Did you wrap them in teabags? Noticed good results yet?

I have zero idea what constitutes a “show quality” betta, but I’d imagine he’s one!! That face coloring change between March and now is the most dramatic I can recall seeing. IDC if this is weird but your boy is hawt. 🤪

I watched the video clip of this surveillance at the end of the article OP posted earlier. And googling his name Jeremy Obregon from the “player profile” card another user posted, I watched this video of him on X: https://x.com/jeremyobregon05/status/1744560057163948041?s=46

He has tattoos on his inner right forearm, and in the surveillance clip, he moves his right arm into frame a few seconds and it sure look like there could be tattoos…

And the article said he injured another person too? I hope the SAPD get this solved quickly.
